Journal Entry #7 - June Recap

As we step into summer on this Canada Day Long Weekend, we're excited to share the latest and greatest from the world of MRD.  With projects wrapping up their Design Phase and others just getting started, we should have lots of fun content to share over the coming months.

1. Merton project

This month, we presented the final finishing touches to our Merton Project design plan which will transform a bland primary bedroom to a serene and stylish getaway for our busy working clients.

Key Features:

  • Neutral Palette with Pops of Blues & Greys : giving a somewhat coastal vibe but keeping things cozy and warm

  • Natural Materials: Using wood, rattan, and linen for a laid-back but layered feel

  • New Wall & Window Treatments: providing depth, warmth and visual interest

We are also updating their entry to be better functioning for this family of 4, addressing playroom storage and finishing off the basement with some easy shelving for toys and memorabilia.

Key Finds:

Cool/Functioning Shoe Storage Solution

Fun Playroom Rug

Affordable Storage Solution

2. Happy Clients = Repeat Clients

We love hearing from our satisfied clients! Here's what one happy homeowner had to say about their recent design experience:

“Working with Meg Rogers Design was a transformative experience. She seamlessly translated my vision into a stunning reality. From concept to execution, her attention to detail and creative flare exceeded my expectations. My son’s bedroom is a space that reflects both comfort and style, thanks to her expectational design expertise.” - Laura

This family was so great to work with and we are thrilled to be back to tackle their next home project this upcoming month - Stay tuned!

Thank you for being a valued part of our interior design community. Enjoy the long weekend, and happy decorating!

Meg
